10月21日,党和国家在北京人民大会堂召开大会,隆重纪念中国工农红军长征胜利80周年。习近平总书记代表党中央发表重要讲话,在京中央领导全部参加会议。至此,党和国家纪念长征胜利80周年的活动达到高潮。习近平同志在讲话中全面总结了红军长征的历史及其重大意义,高度概括了长征精神的科学内涵,明确提出了弘扬长征精神、走好新的长征路的部署要求。这是新长征的宣言书、动员令,对于指导我们走好新的长征路,实现“两个一百年”奋斗目标,具有极为重要的意义。长征精神就是把全国人民和中华民族的根本利益看得高于一切,
On October 21, the party and state convened a meeting in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to solemnly mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Red Army of Chinese Workers and Peasants. General Secretary Xi Jinping made an important speech on behalf of the Central Party Committee and all the leaders in the Central Government of Beijing attended the meeting.
