In the first part of this article (TLE, 1995, No. 3 or http://sepwww.stanford.edu/seg/tle/ross.etal/tle.pl.html), we briefly reviewed Internet (Net) and Global Information The various components of the Internet (WWW or Web) discuss email, file transfer protocols (FTP), Telnet, and the World Wide Web browsing software like Mosaic. We have omitted all insignificant chapters! Since the first part explains the potential use of the Internet, this article focuses on how to connect to the Internet and access the WWW. We will show that even individuals with limited computer resources have an inexpensive way to connect to the Internet from home or from the office. It is hopeful that many are already involved in the global network and have docked at SEG’s network layer (http://sepwww.stanford.edu/seg/).
