Recently，the LGBT community（including Lesbians，Gays，Bisexuals，Transgenders）has won big.In terms of their marriage rights，on July 2015，the Supreme Court of the United States has passed judegment to recognize same-sex marriage and grant most of their rights，which means one’s marriage with same sex is not only legal from then on，but also equal to that of opposite sex.
People hold diverse views about it.Some hold that LGBT’s love is nothing but a temporary impulse.Some argue that it is human nature to love regardless of sex，just like people fall in love without thinking of the considerable disparity between age，or something else as a giant gap obstructed their pure affection.
So it is reckoned by them that LGBT’s marriage rights don’t need to be legalized，whether others recognize their love or not，nature is nature，it is unchangable.
At first，it seems reasonable in a way.When I consider this perspective carefully，however，I found it wrong.
On one hand，if we don’t take action，it would be confirmed that discrimination toward them is right，instead.Our society is as a harmonious symphony，and the voice of authority plays the main melody with it.If their marriage condition remained illegal，protesters may still adopt a strongly negative attitude to them.On the contrary，to have LGBT’s marriage legalized can and will create a friendly atomsphere and lead a more tolerant tendency.Perhaps those who throw gossip，prejudice，even the discrimination against them，may not be such aggressive.Perhaps all the voice of resistence could die away some day.Perhaps the equal love rights would be completely guaranteed in time.
On the other hand，opposite-sex marriage will be equal due to the law.As we all acknowledged，marriage of opposite sex is what we called “normal marriage”，so it is definitely right thing and legal，that is to say，if same-sex marriage is accepted by law，it will be generally admitted as legal and normal thing，naturally.At least，based on legislation，they will not get hurt anymore.Since it is law that protects their rights，and it is law that makes them equal.So we have no reason not to put LGBT’s marriage into the wings of law.
Just as part of the judgement said by the supreme judge： “Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness，excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions.They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law.The Constitution grants them that right.” The rainbow in America has already risen in the sky，shining and glittering.I truly wish that the rainbow would appear in other countries and I firmly believe that the rainbow flags will soon be stuck all over the world！
