On the afternoon of December 7, 2016, a series of lectures on comparative literature and world literature co-organized by the Department of Chinese at Peking University, the Institute of Comparative Literature and Comparative Studies at Peking University, the Peking University Press and the magazine Comparative Literature and World Literature, The thirty-fourth speech held in the Department of Chinese. The lecture was led by Professor Wang Damin from the Institute of Literature of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and chaired by Zhang Pei, the Chinese Department of Peking University, entitled “Mao Zedong and Tongcheng School.” Wang Da-Min was admitted to the Chinese Department of Peking University in the autumn of 1979 and worked under the guidance of three teachers, namely Hongzi Cheng, Le Dai Yun and Sun Jing
