为了纪念南非历史上著名的英布战争100周年,南非邮政为此在1999年至2002年发行了《英布战争100周年》系列邮票4组。特别值得一提的是,1999年10月11日发行的第一组《战争开始》和2002年5月31日发行的第四组《签署停战协定》邮票的日期,正好是在英布战争开始和结束的100年后。这4套邮票全是由南非著名画家海因·博塔设计,由他绘制的英布战争题材的画册曾在国际比赛中获奖。现在,让我们一起通过这4组邮票来了解这场战争。
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the famous British Bush war in South Africa, South Africa Post issued 4 sets of stamps for the 100th Anniversary of the British War from 1999 to 2002.
