巴格达犹太社团是伊斯兰世界最古老的民族社团之一。这个具有千年历史的社团在20世纪上半叶经历了跌宕起伏的命运。政治环境的变迁,社团在商业领域取得的傲人成就以及现代文化教育的引入为20世纪20、30年代社团繁荣奠定了稳固基础。伊拉克王国成立后,国内出现的各种民族主义思潮,加剧了阿犹两大民族关系的紧张。此起彼伏的排忧活动以及政府移民政策的失误,最终导致社团走向衰落。
The Baghdad Jewish community is one of the oldest ethnic communities in the Islamic world. This millennial community experienced an ups and downs in the first half of the twentieth century. Changes in the political environment, the impressive achievements of the community in the business sector and the introduction of modern cultural education have laid a solid foundation for the prosperity of the associations in the 1920s and 1930s. After the establishment of the Iraqi kingdom, the various nationalist currents of thought in the country have aggravated tensions between the two ethnic groups. One after another of the row of worry-free activities and the government’s immigration policy errors, eventually leading to the decline of the community.
