In the past decade, the theory of postmodernism has permeated all fields of social science in our country. To a certain extent, the new Chinese curriculum reform in our country has absorbed some positive and rational elements in the postmodernist educational theory. Taking reading teaching as an example, postmodernism redefines the traditional viewpoints of readers and texts, which provides an important reference for the construction of reading teaching in new Chinese courses.
