A series of situations show that Pop Art is the most influential art in contemporary world. Since the death of Andy Warhol in 1987, the movement has entered a new phase full of variation. Warhol’s reputation and its departure, has become a world-renowned news events. As a result, the publishing community in the United States formulated a new plan to exhibit and publish Warhol’s work, including biographies, memoirs and reprints of the artist’s early publications. When we look back, it proves today an important issue that Andy Warhol was a pivotal artist in the 1960s and the first generation of post-abstract expressionist artists in the United States. In the chapter of art history, Warhol became the latest modern artist, Pop art thus gained a new historical status.
