中国地球物理学会与美国地球物理勘探工作者协会于1981年9月7日至11日在北京共同举办了石油地球物理勘探联合学术讨论会。双方与会者各为40人。中方代表是正在从事石油地球物理勘探工作的总地球物理师、地球物理师、总工程师、工程师、科研人员和教员;美方代表有石油地球物理勘探方面的专家、教授和工程师。双方代表在会上提出的论文共68篇,美方38篇,中方30篇;其内容绝大部分是属于地震勘探的方法、原理、数据的取得和处理方面的成果,也有些是就一个地震勘探问题的综
China Geophysical Society and American Association of Geophysical Prospectors jointly held a joint symposium on petroleum geophysical prospecting in Beijing from September 7 to 11, 1981. Both sides each have 40 participants. The Chinese representatives are the chief geophysicists, geophysicists, chief engineers, engineers, researchers and trainers who are engaged in the work of petroleum geophysical prospecting.
