和平区除市属重点中学外,现有完中校、初中校和职业技术学校共30所,经两年多的努力,投资300多万元,使全区中学共拥有理、化、生实验室123间,微机房26间,语音教室21间,英文打字机房4间,各种模拟实验室和实习室18间,平均每校拥有实验室已达6间。70％的中学还装备了语音室和可供一个教学班同时上机实习的标准计算机房。按国家教委制定的关于中学实验室配备一类标准的要求,全区所有的中学(包括基础薄弱校)均已实现标准化。这些设施的增强,为普及义务教育、全面提高教育质量创造了良好的条件。他们总结出抓好这项工作有四条基本经验。一、统一思想,提高认识要把教育搞上去,中央领导同志多次指出,必须搞好师资、教材、仪器设备三项基本建设。其中,仪器设备、实验室建设,是全面提高教育质量的重要一环。开始,区教育局的领导没有这样高的认识,总认为和平区校舍小、教室少,没有地方增
In addition to the municipal key high schools, Heping District has 30 middle schools, junior high schools, and vocational and technical schools. After more than two years of hard work, it has invested more than 3 million yuan, so that the district’s middle schools have a total of rationalization, chemistry, and experimentation.
