近几年来,用户应用在不断发生变化。个人用户希望享受到更高带宽的Internet接入服务,企业则需要价格低廉的宽带VLAN(虚拟局域网)或VPN(虚拟专线网)服务。各种新业务对于带宽的需求越来越高,分组业务在城域网中占的比重越来越大。城域网中传统的SDH(同步数字系列)技术对于TDM(时分复用)业务可以提供很好保证,但是,对于多业务,特别是分组数据业务,并不能实现高效传输。由此,提出了MSTP(多业务传送平台)/MSPP(多业务提供平台)技术这个概念。
In recent years, user applications are constantly changing. Individual users want to enjoy higher bandwidth Internet access services, companies need low-cost broadband VLAN (virtual LAN) or VPN (virtual private network) services. The demand for bandwidth of various new services is getting higher and higher, and packet services occupy a larger and larger proportion in the metropolitan area network. The traditional SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) technology in the metropolitan area network can provide a good guarantee for TDM (time division multiplexing) service, but it can not be efficiently transmitted for multi-service, especially packet data services. As a result, the concept of MSTP (Multiservice Transport Platform) / MSPP (Multiservice Provisioning Platform) technology has been proposed.
