Objective To observe the effect of Ampressin on nasal skin lesions caused by nasal continuous positive airway pressure (N-CPAP) in neonates. Methods From January 2013 to December 2015, 86 neonates with neonatal N-CPAP in neonatology were recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional methods The nasal prongs placed directly in the nasal examination group nasal ampoule affixed nasal plug in the nose. Results In the control group, 51.16% (22 cases) of the nasal skin were not damaged, which was significantly lower than 88.37% (38 cases) in the control group; 41.86% (18 cases) in the control group were significantly higher than those in the observation group , 11.63% (5 cases) in the control group, 6.98% (3 cases) in the control group, and no severe injury in the observation group. There were significant differences between the two groups in no injury, mild injury and severe injury P <0.05). Conclusion Apress can significantly reduce nasal congestion caused by nasal skin damage.
