Although Ouyang Yuqian is an important figure in the history of modern drama, there are many articles that are not yet known to the academic community. The four prefaces of Ouyang Yuqian, which are recorded in this paper, are just a few of them. Ouyang Yuqian was the author of The Secret History of the World compiled by Zhou Shoujuan, translated by Xu Zhihao and Ling Shanqing, Xu Guomei’s drama series “Astray”, and the famous Japanese musicologist Lin Qian-san’s “East Asian Musical Instrument Test” Preface.
