参差美结构过于平正,则呆板;过于匀称,则整齐;过于连绵,则凝结。呆板、整齐、凝结皆死象,产生不了美感。王羲之说:“平直相似,状如算子,上下方整,前后齐平,便不是书。”点画齐平的字不美,鳞羽错落交互为美。如散水(氵)、烈火(灬)均需各自立势、各尽其态。如横画重复、竖画叠见的字,在大书家的书作中,均是长短互殊,偃仰异似的。如李邕的字,凡左右结构的字,大体都是右高左低(亦有左高右低)。并施
