写作是一种能力,是当代社会必备的素质和修养,但如今各高校把大学语文教学以及其分支应用文写作教学放在一个极其微小的地位,究其原因,一是因为消除大量课时,二是因为应用文这样的公共基础课枯燥乏味,令人生厌。但因其有些许缺点而取消这门课程也是因噎废食之举。这就要求大学语文教师从课程特点和大学生心理特征入手,探索行之有效的教学方法,动员学生学习大学语文和应用文写作的积极性,恰当灵活的运用情景教学法、案例教学法、实践教学法、对比教学法、结构教学法等教学方法和手段,以期达到大学生能够在就业后具备一定得应用文写作能力,适应社会发展的需要。
