中国共产党十六届六中全会审议通过了《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》,这是我们国家政治生活和社会发展中的一件大事。2006年10月31日,本刊编辑部召开了“学习贯彻中共十六届六中全会精神座谈会”,邀请部分留学回国人员座谈。他们结合自己的学习、工作或留学经历,就构建社会主义和谐社会这一重大理论纷纷发言。有学者因故未能到会,也及时传来书面发言。他们发言的内容精彩,既是对中共中央决定的积极拥护,也反映出他们作为有留学经历的专家,从各自的认知角度对这一决定的深层理解。在此,本刊特摘要发表这次座谈会的内容,希望广大留学人员予以关注,共同为构建社会主义和谐社会作出贡献。
The 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee examined and adopted the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues concerning Building a Harmonious Socialist Society,” a major event in the political and social development of our country. On October 31, 2006, the editorial department of our magazine held the “Symposium on Learning and Carrying out the Spirit of the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee,” and invited some of the returned overseas students to hold informal discussions. They combined their own study, work or study experience to speak on the major theory of building a socialist harmonious society. Some scholars have failed to come to the meeting for some reason and timely written written speeches. The wonderful content of their speeches not only proactively supported the decision of the CPC Central Committee, but also reflected their profound understanding of this decision from their own cognitive perspective as an expert studying abroad. Hereby, we hereby give a summary of the content of this symposium, and hope all the students studying abroad will pay attention to jointly contribute to the construction of a harmonious socialist society.
