读马良的山水画,我不禁想起两位老人:一位是黄秋园,一位是陈子庄。所以如此想,不是因为马良的山水画与他们画风相近或于他们有所传承,而是感到马良与他们之间,有一种精神气流的贯通。就画风而言,黄秋原浓密繁茂,陈子庄幽深浑厚,而马良则显得雄深雅健,无论从笔墨、意趣、布局还是作品所展示的地域特点,他们都迥然不同。然而,从他们的画作中所展示的对传统的尊重、彻悟以至开拓,从那山水之间充溢的苍迈高古的气韵,以及“林泉高致”、“澄怀观照”式的静气,都给人以殊途同归之感。
Reading Ma Liang’s landscape painting, I can not help but think of two elderly people: one is Huang Qiuyuan, one is Chen Zizhuang. So think so, not because of Ma Liang’s landscape paintings and their style is similar or have their heritage, but feel between Ma Liang and them, there is a spiritual flow through. As far as the style of painting is concerned, Huang Qiuyuan is thick and luxuriant, Chen Zizhuang is deep and vigorous, while Ma Liang looks elegant and profound. They are all very different in terms of their artistic features, their layout and the geographical features they show. However, from the traditional respect, enlightenment and pioneering shown in their paintings, from the grand and archaic atmosphere full of landscapes and the grace of “Lin Quan Gao Zhi” and “Cheng Huai Guan Shou Zhao” Give people the same sense of return.
