1987年我区在五个试验点共1000亩面积的稻田中进行了《不同类型稻田的稻鱼高产技术研究》。试验田都搭养了一定比例的隔年罗非鱼,从5月中下旬放鱼到9月中下旬验收,经过105~120天的饲养,罗非鱼的普遍个体重达200~250克,最大个体重达550克,最小个体重100克。罗非鱼亩产达10~18公斤。对提高本试验的鲜鱼总产量和经济效益起了很大的作用。从1987年的试验中看出,鱼种的亩放养量和稻田生态条件对罗非鱼的生长起很大的制约作用。一般是每亩稻田各
