委拉斯凯兹的《宫娥》打破了相似性链条,复原了空间的多重性,从而完成了对传统绘画空间的否定。在委拉斯凯兹之后,马奈对空间、光线和观者位置三元素的革命性处理,开启了现代绘画的空间。两位画家在绘画中展现的古典巴洛克空间和现代空间,启发了福柯不仅将空间视为权力话语的运作策略,还进一步探究空间的流动性及生产性,这也在一定程度上促成福柯从结构主义转向解构思潮。
Velasquez’s “Gong E” broke the similarity chain and restored the multiplicity of space, thus completing the negation of the traditional painting space. After Velasquez, Manet’s revolutionary treatment of the three elements of space, light and viewer position opened the door to modern painting. The classical Baroque space and modern space that the two painters showed in the paintings inspired Foucault not only to think of space as the operating strategy of power discourse but also to further explore the fluidity and productivity of space and to a certain extent, From Structuralism to Deconstruction.
