钢铁零件经渗铬、渗硼处理后,表面均能获得高硬度(HV 1400~2000),具有良好的耐磨、耐腐蚀、抗高温氧化和抗疲劳性能,但是,渗铬层深度较浅;渗硼层脆性较大,并且在高于850℃时抗氧化性能差。因此,近十多年来为了改善零件表面的综合使用性能,国外出现铬硼、铬钛二元共渗新工艺,据资料介绍,铬硼共渗层深度比渗铬层深,具有良好的抗蚀性和较低的脆性;铬钛共渗层具有高硬度(HV>2200)及良好的耐蚀性。所以引起国内外热处理工作者的重视。下面把我们最近的试验结果介绍如下。
