安达市高级中学创建于一九六二年九月十五日,市委、市政府对学校非常重视,要求把学校办成全省一流的学校,选派了得力的领导班子,从全市抽调了一批骨干教师到校任教,在教师中大学本科毕业生占95%;学校校园宽敞优美,图书馆、阅览室、实验室,教学设备比较齐全,是省重点中学之一。“文革”前,他向全国各条战线输送了一大批人才,为社会主义建设事业做出了贡献。
