ABB集团和戴姆勒-克莱斯勒集团宣布,戴姆勒-克莱斯勒已同意收购由双方各出一半资金组建的合资公司Adtranz中ABB集团所持有的股份,以图通过战略并购成全球铁路交通业的领头羊。根据协议,戴姆勒-克莱斯勒公司将向ABB集团支付4.72亿美元,以补偿ABB所持有的Adtranz公司50％的股份。戴姆勒-克莱斯勒和ABB同意继续执行现行的供货协议。
ABB Group and DaimlerChrysler Group Announce DaimlerChrysler has agreed to acquire shares held by the ABB Group in Adtranz, a 50-50 joint venture between the two parties in an attempt to acquire a strategic stake in global rail transport Leader. Under the agreement, DaimlerChrysler will pay ABB Group $ 472 million to compensate ABB for a 50% stake in Adtranz. DaimlerChrysler and ABB agreed to continue implementing the existing supply agreement.
