茶翅蝽主要危害梨、桃、苹果等水果。梨果被害处结成硬块、外形凸凹不平,形成“疙瘩梨”,苹果被害处凹陷,果皮深绿色,果肉变空,木栓化,发生“青病”,桃果被害处凹陷,流胶,大部分脱落。由于果实被害后畸形生长,且木栓、石细胞增多,致使品质下降,不堪食用。 茶翅蝽在黄骅市1年发生1代,以成虫越冬。翌年3月中、下旬越冬成虫开始出蛰活动,5月下旬至8月中旬为产卵期,卵期4～7天。5月底、6月初若虫开始孵化,6月中旬为孵化盛期。7月下旬成虫羽化,9月中旬进入越冬期。
