素心蜡梅作为蜡梅的一个变种,经人工长期栽培形成了为数不少的栽培品种。又因各地气候、土壤条件不一,栽培方法不同,因此开花期、花瓣的大小、花色的深浅均有所不同,名称比较混乱,不乏同名异(品)种、同(品)种异名现象。目前尚无统一的标准称法,具体有多少品种,全国也未统一整理过。根据有关资料,园林中常见的有以下几个品种: 1.素心罄口花黄色或淡黄色;花径1.5～2.2厘米;花被片椭圆形或长椭圆形,似匙。中层花被片1.3～2.0(2.3)厘米;内被片无紫线、紫纹。花被片半含直伸,花形似罄,顶端略外张或稍反卷。
