据大连市白蚁防治办公室报导:大连市白蚁防治工作在国家城乡建设环境保护部、中国白蚁防治科技协作中心、市人民政府领导下,在有关部门、单位的大力协助和支持下,做了一些工作,取得了一定成绩。全市84年共普查房屋7,785栋,建筑面积为2,568,199.19平方米,其中:发现白蚁危害房屋412栋,建筑面积为126,999.16平方米。
