Our school plant protection virus group accepted the national key project of Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, cooperated with Beijing Normal University and succeeded in using tomato virus-resistant agent NS-83 to control tomato virus disease. It passed the appraisal on January 22, 1985 and was approved by Beijing Normal University chemical plant for mass production.
