In a village that captures the ancient and modern zeitgeist of Bali in all its colour， energy and lively tradition， curious travellers are the new savvy individualists.
The Contemporary Interpretation of the Folklore
民间艺术的现代演绎
酒店的室内外设计由泰国著名设计公司A49和P49完成，实际上，这是一次建筑设计师与巴厘岛当地艺术家联合共同创造的呈现。酒店邀请巴厘岛本土最活跃的艺术家们，以巴厘岛的民间文化艺术和水明漾的社区风格为灵感，用更现代化的形式把丰富的色彩和民俗元素注入进来，几乎每一个细节都可以追溯到15世纪，讲述一段生动的巴厘岛历史。
不同于传统意义的大堂，这里的大堂空间被称为“社区画廊”，它不仅是接待客人的第一站，也是一处精心打造的艺术空间，更是客人了解巴厘岛文化的窗口。每处设计的背后都大藏玄机。堂顶上大小错落的吊灯，原型是当地随处可见的蓬伞伞顶以及渔民捕鱼的鱼篓。贯穿整个酒店的菱形木格纹，则是以当地人参加宗教仪式所穿着的锦缎为灵感设计。散落在大堂四处、风格各异的座椅，则是巴厘岛的“百家椅”，酒店以此还原了当地人带着自家椅子在门外相聚聊天的日常。
270间客房的室内设计也随处可见巴厘岛的当地特色。迷你吧如同自家的客厅一角，放有艺术家手作咖啡杯、本地自酿酒、简易榨汁机......，而不论是一只小小垃圾桶还是大面积手织地毯，都是对当地手工艺的致敬。
整个酒店横跨 4.7 公顷，花园式室外景致由Belt Collins操刀设计，灵感则为传递这座神明之岛的自然之美。院内的石刻神龛和墙体结构，是用当地建造神殿的火山石刻成，引入巴厘岛的文化之魂，墙体结构的水帘设计则是巴厘岛梯田灌溉系统的再创造。郁郁葱葱、景色宜人的庭院中种植着奇异美丽的植物，泳池隐匿在树木丰茂的园林中，私密而别致。
酒店庭院内坐落着19个配有私人室外泳池和大理石浴室的别墅，每栋别墅都有着颜色不同雕花繁复的大门，匠人精神可见一斑。别墅设计的灵感来源于体现神、生物和地球关系的“三”卡拉纳哲学，巧妙地将当代设计和古老传统放在一起。每个别墅都像一所乡间的巴厘岛房子，由三个主要的区域组成：Nista Mandala——让人们拥抱神的空间，Madya Mandala——与大自然融为一体的空间，以及Utama Mandala—— 与人交流的空间。
Designed by A49 （exteriors） and P49 （interiors）， who have worked on numerous award-winning properties throughout Asia Pacific， the hotel is actually the integrations of the architects and local artists. Inspired by Bali's folklore and Seminyak's neighborhood，Hotel Indigo invites some of the most active artists to input the beautiful colour and folklore elements into the hotel.
Different from the traditional lobby， the lobby here was called the "neighborhood gallery"，which is not only the first stop to welcome the guests， but also a delicate art space， a window for guests to know about Bali culture.
You can see Bali local features everywhere in the 270 rooms and suits. The mini bar is like the corner of your own home with hand-made mugs，locally-made alcohol， and juice squeezer， and from a trash can to the beautiful patterned carpet，almost everything is honoring the local art.
Sprawling over 4.7 hectares of land space， the alluring landscape by Belt Collins who deeply embraces the unsurpassed beauty of the island of Gods' natural setting through the presence of exotic plants and lush vegetation on the wall structures that portray Bali's irrigation system – Subak rice terrace.
19 villas with private swimming pool and marble bathroom are landed in the hotel's garden， and each door of the villa is in different colour and carved with sophisticated patterns， which indicates the artisans spirit. The design of the villas is inspired by a Balinese compound – "Tri Mandala" area separation concept.
