专门用途英语(ESP)作为以英语为载体的专业知识传播与交流的教学,它既是一门大学英语课程又是一种教学方法。在国内专门用途英语教学现状分析中,课堂中英语专业词汇讲解、长难句翻译及文体分析成了固定教学形式,大学英语教学改革与发展举步维艰。基于问题学习(PBL)在医学、管理学、经济学等领域的教学相对成熟,而在专门用途英语中理论与实证都处在攻坚阶段,笔者着重探索基于问题学习在专门用途英语教学中的影响要素并进行分析,以给实际教学带来理论参考。
ESP is used as a medium of English communication and communication of professional knowledge. It is not only a college English course but also a teaching method. In the analysis of the status quo of English for specialized purposes in the country, the explanations of English majors in the classroom, the translation of long sentences and the analysis of stylistic features have become the fixed teaching forms. The reform and development of college English teaching is struggling. Based on problem-based learning (PBL) in medical, management science, economics and other fields of teaching is relatively mature, and in the special-purpose English theory and evidence are at a crucial stage, the author focuses on the issue-based learning in ESP English teaching Elements and analysis, in order to bring theoretical reference to the actual teaching.
