采用三洋83P系列机心的早期46cm(18in)彩电国内持有量较大。这些彩电无遥控、无AV端口,PAL单制式。无论配接影碟机、VCD、录像机和游戏机都必须从天线端射频RF插口输入,且不说廉价的放像机,VCD无射频输出端就不能配用,即使有射频输出,画源设备的质量也已大打折扣。VCD从AV端输出清晰度可达320线,影碟可达360线,但经RF调制再从早期彩电天线端输入,最好的也只能达300线,多数连240线都达不到。因此,后期的彩电都有AV输入甚至S-视频输入端。
