语言测试的目的不仅用来描述和评价SL学习者的语言能力,而且还用来构建、描述和解释测试表现中的差异和对应的理论。Bachman和Palmer(1996)所建立的语言能力模式普遍认为是研究个体语言交际能力中英语阅读理解能力与元认知策略应用的基础。当前不少研究者对此问题进行了实证研究(E.G.,Purpura,1997,1998;1999)。
The purpose of language testing is not only to describe and evaluate SL learners’ language skills, but also to construct, describe and explain differences in test performance and the corresponding theories. The language proficiency model established by Bachman and Palmer (1996) is generally considered to be the basis for studying the application of English reading comprehension and metacognitive strategies in communicative competence of individuals. Many current researchers have conducted empirical research on this issue (E.G., Purpura, 1997, 1998; 1999).
