Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance of serum hsC-RP in patients with diabetic foot infection (DFI). Methods Two hundred and sixty-one patients with DFI were divided into group D and group A. The hsC-RP, WBC count and neutrophil percentage (N%) were measured before and after treatment. Results hsC-RP in both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment (P <0.01). Conclusion Monitoring hsC-RP can be used as one of the sensitive indexes for the diagnosis of DFI and its prognosis. It is more clinically significant for patients with atypical clinical symptoms.
