复合材料是把不同特性的两种或两种以上的材料结合起来,综合各种材料的优点,而获得物理和机械性能显著强化的新型材料。作为材料科学的一个新领域,复合材料的发展、研究及应用,将会对机械工业、能源节约产生重大的影响。目前,一种比较有应用价值、有前途的,是以金属为基体,含有非金属成份的复合材料。这种复合材料具有高强度、特殊耐磨性和耐腐蚀性,适用范围十分广泛。
Composites are the combination of two or more materials of different properties, combining the advantages of a wide variety of materials to obtain new materials with significantly enhanced physical and mechanical properties. As a new field of material science, the development, research and application of composite materials will have a significant impact on the machinery industry and energy conservation. At present, a more application value, promising, is a metal matrix, containing non-metallic composite materials. This composite material with high strength, special wear resistance and corrosion resistance, a wide range of applications.
