珠江三角洲沙围田地区是广东的主产蔗区之一。由于水肥条件好,甘蔗产量较高。七十年代以来、由于高产良种粤糖57/423的推广和耕作制度的改革,甘蔗螟虫的为害也比以前严重,据广大蔗区的干群反映:由于螟害每亩损失产量一吨以上。螟害严重已成为沙围田蔗区影响产量提高的主要因素之一。为了明确由于品种、栽培制度的变化而带来虫害的变化情况,我们选择在主要沙围田蔗区之一的番禺县
Shajiang Delta in the Pearl River Delta region is one of the main production of sugarcane in Guangdong. Due to good water and fertilizer conditions, sugar cane yield is higher. Since the 1970s, due to the popularization of the high-yielding seed Yueshe 57/423 and the reform of the tillage system, the damage of sugar cane stem borer was also worse than before. According to the cadres of the vast sugarcane area, the output of over one ton per mu was reduced due to stem borer damage. Severe stem borer has become one of the main factors affecting the yield of sugarcane field in the field.
