英语专业英语课程内容偏失的原因在于偏颇的语言知识技能的设置,而这种功利主义和结构主义课程观指导下的语言知识技能训练难于适应多元文化共生时代对英语专业教育提出的要求。因此,英语专业英语课程内容设置的向度在于遵循人文发展规律、满足教育主体实际需要,实现从“语言符号”到“文化理解”的转向,从而促进英语学习主体的批判性思维、多元文化理解与对话能力的养成。
