The death of Comrade Qian Ning is a major loss to the scientific and technological community, the education sector and the international community of river and sediment. Comrade Qian Ning is the most proud graduate student of U.S. sediment expert H.A. Einstein. But he never talked about the relationship with mentors, just as Einstein never boasted of his relationship with old Einstein.
