全国“娃娃杯”乒乓球比赛是由民间发起和组织的儿童乒乓球比赛,由全国各地部分小学或少体校乒乓球教练员组成的“娃娃杯”乒乓球赛理事会统一领导,每年举行一次。首届比赛于去年在河南新乡市举行。时隔一年的第二届比赛于今年8月在山西省长治市举行,由长治市城区政府承办。长治市政府、体委、教育局和城区政府、体委、教育局等有关领导对此次比赛十分重视,动员社会各界支持本届赛事,因而保证了大会的顺利进行。举办单位还请来了国家乒乓球队选手,为参赛的娃娃和教练员作示范表演,国手的精湛球艺得到了小选手和教练员的称赞。来自全国11个省市、21支球队的300余名小运动员参加了比赛。比赛设男、女甲、乙组团体和单
The National “Doll Cup” table tennis competition is a children’s table tennis competition initiated and organized by the people. The “Doll Cup” table tennis competition composed of some primary schools or institutes of table tennis coaches throughout the country is under the unified leadership and held once a year. The first competition was held in Xinxiang, Henan Province last year. The second competition a year later was held in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province in August this year and was hosted by the Changzhi City Government. Relevant leaders of Changzhi Municipal Government, Sports Commission, Education Bureau, urban government, Sports Commission, Education Bureau and other leaders attached great importance to this competition and mobilized all sectors of society to support this event, thus ensuring the smooth progress of the conference. Organizers also invited the national table tennis team players for the participating dolls and coaches for demonstration, the exquisite ball national team has been praised by the small players and coaches.
