MWM公司新的D234柴油机系列(图1)是由应用范围广、使用可靠性高的D332柴油机系列发展而来的。由于扩大了冲程和缸径,提高了平均有效压力,使发动机在尽量不改变外廓尺寸的情况下最大功率比原机提高63%,从而达到了很有利的比重量、体积功率和燃油耗量。通过对排气道截面、增压系统和燃烧系统的重新设计,以及为承受较高的气缸压力而设计了坚固的曲轴箱和传动机构,从而使功率得以提高。 虽然设计参数不是主要体现在每一机型的重量和体积的小型化上,但由于高质量的设计提高了潜力利用程度,最终还是得到了比重量小和体积功率高等方面的突出指标,由此达到没有更多的其它结构系列能与之在价格/千瓦上竞争。V8发动机的功率范围能够满足至今需要使用V12发动机的功率需求,而这台最大功率为600千瓦的发动机已超过载重车辆发动机结构系列目前的功率范围。
The new D234 Diesel Engine Series from MWM (Figure 1) was developed from the wide range of applications and high reliability of the D332 Diesel Engine Series.
