盱眙县肉联厂是一个曾经“闻名”全县的特困企业。从1982年建厂开始就连续亏损,特别是在生猪市场放开以后,企业长期处于瘫痪状态,仅1991、1992年两年就亏损180万元。面对这种严峻的形势,该厂从解放思想、转变观念入手,紧紧把握国际市场行情,开发生产冻熟龙虾仁出口产品。通过三年的艰苦拼搏,使企业逐步走出了困境,去年扭转了亏损局面,取得了建厂以来最好的经济效益,全年共完成工业产值1720万元,比上年增长210％,实现利税70万,比同期增长75％。
Ganxian Meat Factory is a special hardship company that once was “famous” in the county. Since the establishment of the factory in 1982, it has suffered continuous losses, especially after the live pig market was opened. The company has been in a state of paralysis for a long time. In 1991 and 1992 alone, it lost 1.8 million yuan. In the face of this grim situation, the factory started from emancipating the mind and changing concepts, closely grasping the international market conditions, and developing and producing frozen and cooked lobster prawn export products. After three years of hard work, the company gradually got out of its predicament, reversed the loss last year, and achieved the best economic benefits since the plant was built. The industrial output value for the whole year was 17.2 million yuan, an increase of 210% over the previous year, and profits and taxes were realized. 700,000, an increase of 75% over the same period.
