高职的教学目的就是以就业为导向,为社会提供能满足企业要求的高素质、高技能人才,英语作为高职一门重要的公共基础课,在构建高职人才的知识能力和素质结构中起着重要的作用,但是一些高职英语教师仍然采用传统的教学模式,这样不但没有提高学生的英语水平,反而更让他们失去学习的兴趣,抑制学生的发展,因此从高职英语教学的现状出发,分析影响高职英语教学的因素,并且结合实际,以就业为主导,把学生学习英语的重要性和以后的就业联系起来,从而激发动力、增强兴趣。
