江泽民总书记在《关于教育问题的谈话》中指出:“要经常地在学生中开展纪律法制教育,增强他们的纪律法制观念,使他们懂得遵纪守法的道理。”运城市各级关心下一代工作委员会,几年来着重做了四项工作:一是协同有关部门,给中小学配备法制副校长。根据省教育厅、省关工委、省司法厅等部门的指示精神,他们协调市教委、市司法局加大了给中小学配备法制副校长的工作力度。至去年年底,全市共配备法制副校长651名,垣曲、万荣、芮城等县都搞得扎实突出,特别是垣曲县,共挑选了43名派出所所长以上的政法领导干部,通过培训,分别担任了全县43所中小学的法制副校长,从组织上保证了对青少年法制教育的正常开展。
