[目的/意义]元数据是数据描述与数据发现的重要工具,但目前针对用户如何通过元数据查找与发现科学数据,以及用户判断数据相关与否的标准等问题的研究较少。为此,探究了科学数据各元数据项在用户判断数据相关性时所发挥的作用,并对用户的判断行为和判断标准进行分析,旨在为下一步改进科学数据检索系统、提高数据发现效率提供依据。[方法/过程]以实证研究的方式对元数据在判断科学数据时所发挥的作用进行分析,选取36名农业领域在读研究生作为被试,通过眼动仪观察并记录被试在农业科学数据共享中心检索数据的过程,并对所有被试进行实验后访谈,再现其判断数据的思维过程,运用内容分析法对实验后访谈内容进行分析,以总结用户判断数据相关性时所采用的标准。[结果/结论]研究结果表明,数据用户在判断科学数据时对各元数据项的关注程度存在很大的差异,做出判断时遵循一定的用户相关性标准,且这些相关性标准与各元数据项之间存在一定的对应关系。
[Purpose / Significance] Metadata is an important tool for data description and data discovery. However, there are few researches on how users find and discover scientific data through metadata, as well as the criteria for users to judge whether data are relevant or not. To this end, we explored the role of each metadata item of scientific data in determining the relevance of data by users, and analyzed the judgment behaviors and criteria of users to improve the scientific data retrieval system and the efficiency of data discovery in the next step Provide evidence. [Methods / Procedures] An empirical analysis of the role played by metadata in judging scientific data was conducted. [Results / Conclusions] The results show that there are great differences in the degree of attention of data users when judging scientific data, and certain user-related criteria are followed when making judgments, and the correlations between these criteria and each element There is a certain correspondence between data items.
