Recently, the Joint Study Group on Abortion Research reported that it is recommended to use extended dilation and emptying for mid-term miscarriage than the commonly used intra-amniotic infusions of hypertonic saline or prostaglandin F_ (2a) in the United States with severe acute complications. In this paper, the use of a new large-hole straw system to arrange any patient with a standard 12 mm or 15.9 mm straw system to do the mid-term abortion. The large pipette system consists of a plastic pipe 15.9 mm OD and 12.8 mm ID which has a hole at the top and a tight helical handle connected to a standard collection bottle via a 15 mm ID plastic pipe and a 16 mm ID inlet . The conventional 12mm system with the metal hole side-by-side, to the inlet of the vial is 10mm. This study is for pregnant 13 to 16
