新年看灯会是全球华人传统习俗。据文献记载,早在南朝时期,为了祈求风调雨顺、天下太平,张灯结彩的盛况便从深宫禁苑、宗教场所走向民间大众。唐诗有云,火树银花合,星桥铁锁开。描写的正是元宵节灯会的繁华景象,也记录了古人利用灯彩增添节日气氛的风尚。如今都市的繁华,让灯火璀璨不夜天不再是过节的专利。春节和元宵节的灯会,也成为过年的习俗,结合现代光电技术,彩灯的形式更加多样。华夏大地到处点燃的绚烂彩灯,让人们感受到浓浓的年味。
