对当代文人无行的无情揭露和强烈批判,对民国时期文人风骨的无限眷恋和深情呼唤,是《蒋公的面子》生存和传播的文化语境。这种接受语境和其他传播动力一起有力地促进了本剧的传播。但是美中不足的是,本剧反思和批判的力度都有欠缺,我们看不到其对文人风骨的表现与理想人格的塑造。其与当代文坛对民国时期文人形象的集体想象也有出入。戏中戏的结构也许可以增强本剧的思辨性和批判性。
It is a cultural context for the existence and dissemination of “Chiang Kai-shek’s Face” that he exposed and criticized the ruthlessness of the contemporary literary people and his infinite attachment and affection for the style of literati during the Republic of China. This receptive context and other motivations for dissemination have strongly contributed to the spread of the play. However, the fly in the ointment is that there is a lack of strength to reflect on and critique the drama, and we can not see how it shapes the idealistic personality of the literati. There are also discrepancies between it and contemporary collective literature on the literati’s image in the Republic of China. The structure of play in the play may enhance the speculativeness and criticalness of the play.
