北部湾文化是指,以北部湾区域为范围,在岭南文化与儒家文化为核心的中原文化的影响下,经过海陆通道,岭南文化的本土文化与百越文化融合,进而与汉文化交融,山地文化与海洋文化交织,形成了一种集域外文化、滨海文化、族群文化、商贸文化为一体的海陆文化形态,统称之为北部湾文化.通过北部湾文化研究基本摸清了北部湾区域的文化底蕴,增强我们的文化自信和文化自觉,对海上丝路的历史研究,为我们国家“一带一路”建设提供了强有力的文化理论支撑,为进一步提升广西在国家对外开放战略的地位和作用提供有力理论依据,进一步推动了广西地域文化的研究,推动了北部湾地区旅游业的发展,振兴了北部湾地区的经济.
