英语属于现代大学生未来就业生活需要具备的重要技能,而学生英语翻译能力的培养和提升不但有助于他们英语自主学习能力的提升,同时还可以有效的增强大学生的英语应用能力。所以对于高校英语教师而言,必须要在英语课堂教学过程中重视学生翻译能力的培养,基于此,本文分析了当前大学生英语翻译能力现状,并就如何提升其翻译能力给出了几点建议。
English belongs to the important skills that modern college students need to have in their future employment. The cultivation and improvement of students ’English translation ability not only help them to improve their autonomous learning ability, but also effectively enhance the college students’ English ability. Therefore, for English teachers in colleges and universities, we must attach importance to the cultivation of students’translation ability in the process of English classroom teaching. Based on this, this paper analyzes the current situation of college students’English translation ability and gives some suggestions on how to improve their translation ability.
