湖南省临澧烽火一带,于震旦系陡山沱组中下部产出极似硅藻土矿的一层沉积层。该层位下部以震旦系南沱冰积层为界,上复震旦系灯影组砂岩。出露厚度约20~30米,走向断续延伸达30~40公里。经现场调查、物相分析和理化测试,纠正了原“硅藻土”的定名,并确定该岩层系硅质白云岩的风化残积产物。鉴于硅质白云岩的风化残积产物,其表观物理性质和化学成分几乎与硅藻土矿难于区别。因此,本文试图以临澧烽火硅质自云岩风化残积产物为例,从对比中,指出硅藻土矿与硅质白云岩风化残积产物的相似性和差异性,供硅藻土找矿参考。
In the vicinity of Linfen Beacon in Hunan Province, a sedimentary layer of diatomite ore is produced in the middle and lower part of the Doushantuo Formation in Sinian. The lower part of the horizon is Sinian Nantuo ice buildup boundary, the Upper Sinian Dengying sandstone. Exposed the thickness of about 20 to 30 meters, extending intermittently to 30 to 40 km. After field investigation, phase analysis and physical and chemical tests, the original name of “diatomite” was corrected and the weathered residual products of siliceous dolomite in this strata were determined. In view of the weathered residual products of siliceous dolomites, their apparent physical properties and chemical composition are almost indistinguishable from diatomite. Therefore, this paper attempts to take Linqu Beacon siliceous dolomite weathering residual products as an example, from the comparison, pointed out that diatomite and siliceous dolomite weathering residual product similarities and differences for diatomite prospecting reference.
