为加快坑探工程的进度,降低成本,减轻工人的劳动强度。我队首次使用了KD100型坑道水平钻机,此机加减压、倒杆靠气动和手轮推动双作用进行。地质勘探坑道施工,一般工作量不大,用电动凿岩机掘进较普遍。风动掘进因设备少,成本高,在地质勘探坑道施工中应用较少。因此,为解决KD100型坑道钻机所需气源,我们采用CA—10型解放牌汽车所用汽泵经改装获得成功。经过半年多的生产实践,共完成4个水平钻孔,进尺达250多米,使用效果良好,气压充足可靠,部件改进组装合理,体积小,重量轻,不需另加动力带动,只在钻机的电动机上接出一条三角皮带即可(见附图)。
