众人立下志愿,动手建造一座通天的高塔,直插云霄,连通天庭。上帝不能容忍自己的尊严被冒犯,于是阻止高塔的不断升高,上帝的办法便是让人们开始说各自不同的语言。当无法通畅交流的时候,人们相互争执,分崩离析,建塔工程由此告吹。《圣经》中这个古老的故事讲述了人们合作的艰难。如今,随着互联网时代的到来,世界各地的有心人正在重新组成协作体,分享知识和技能,共同完成单独个体永远都无法胜任的工程。
The people set a volunteer, hands-on tower to build a towering, straight into the sky, connected to heaven. God can not tolerate his own dignity being offended, so stop the rising tower, God’s way is to let people begin to speak their different languages. When unable to communicate smoothly, people disagreed with each other, falling apart, building tower project thus came to an end. This ancient story of the Bible tells of the hardships of cooperation. Today, with the advent of the Internet age, well-meaning people around the world are rebuilding collaborators, sharing knowledge and skills, and working together on projects that no single individual can ever be capable of.
