On October 27, the 6th Plenary Session of the 18th CCP Central Committee concluded. The plenary session focused on the major theme of a comprehensive and strict administration of the party and considered and approved two important documents: “Guidelines on the Political Life of the Party within the New Situation” and “Regulations on Supervision within the Communist Party of China.” The communique made it clear that the CPC Central Committee’s determination to unswervingly push forward the party’s solemn rule of conduct has created a new pattern of party building and a new realm. It has also systematically taken the “four comprehensive” strategic layout to a new height.
